Born in Detroit on October 9th, 1960.
Around 80, came to NY. Started to play at OTB in 85, Art Blakey & Jazz Messengers in 86, Miles from 87, and Marcus from 94.
Marcus and Kenny met in NY in 83 for the first time. Kenny visited Japan as a member of Marcus' band in 1995, 1996 and 1999.
"Happy People" was produced by Marcus and Kenny and recorded from September 11th
at Ocean Way Recordings in Los Angeles.
He is releasing albums constantly and
the lastest one in 2013 is called
"Pushing The World Away".
Kenny can speak Japanese very well,
therefore Kenny made a speech at
International Jazz Day 2014 in Osaka by
fluent Japanese.
Kenny with Vernell, McClenty, Corcoran, and Rudy came to Tokyo in April 2015,
